High-Rise Structural Steel Model

This project involved the full structural steel detailing for a 22-storey commercial high-rise tower located in a dense urban setting. Our scope covered 3D modeling of beams, columns, bracings, stair cores, and equipment decks, along with connection detailing, GA drawings, MTOs, and fabrication-ready shop drawings. We also provided erection sequencing and coordinated with architectural and MEP models to ensure smooth construction execution.

Our team worked closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve structural transitions across floor levels. The entire detailing scope was completed using Steel Structures, with Navisworks used for model integration and clash detection to eliminate inter-disciplinary conflicts before construction.

Key Deliverables

We deliver fully coordinated 3D models and precise shop drawings for beams, columns, and connections, ensuring accuracy and fabrication readiness. Complete BOMs and CNC data are provided for seamless production and erection.

Coordination & Optimization

Performed Navisworks clash detection with architectural and MEP models; adjusted connections for constructability and visual alignment.

Result & Impact

Our structured and collaborative detailing approach enabled the project to move into fabrication with zero rework and zero RFls (Request for Information) post-submission. All drawings were approved by the client’s review team without delay, contributing to an uninterrupted steel procurement and erection timeline. Thanks to early clash detection and clear erection sequencing, the project was delivered on schedule, helping the client reduce on-site steel erection time by over 20%. The result demonstrated our ability to deliver scalable, accurate detailing solutions for complex high-rise construction.
